As we conclude another harried holiday season, I want to encourage you to stop and take a moment to pause and reflect on the good, the bad, and, sometimes, the ugly that has happened over the past 366 days. I hope that you give yourself permission to do one little thing - breathe. 
Well written, inventive pieces that leave plenty of room for the group to express themselves musically are hard to find, but when I do I'm instantly a fan. Robert Lamb's new arrangement of "Nearer, My God, To Thee" is a piece that captured my love for the same reasons as soon as I heard it.
