presented by The Film Society of Lincoln Center at the 50th New York Film Festival

Director Yesim Ustaoglu depicts with empathy and uncompromising honesty the fate of a teenaged girl when she becomes sexually obsessed with a long distance trucker and the promise of freedom that he embodies.

Tickets can be purchased online and in person at the Alice Tully Hall box office.


There will be a talk with filmmaker Yesim Ustaoglu on October 15, 6pm at Columbia University (509 Knox Hall on the SW corner of Broadway and 122nd), co-hosted by Moon and Stars Project and The Institute of Turkish Studies at Columbia University.
