Do you love to make your own jewelry and accessories? Then this class is for you! Each week, Emily will invite students to explore a variety of media and materials such as wire, beads, baubles, ribbon, buttons, textiles and fabric paint etc. to create earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, hair accessories, key chains, wall hangings/charms and brooches/pins. In addition to learning the basics of working with wire and jewelry findings like jump rings and clasps, students will also learn how to hand-sew (without a machine) their own bags/pouches and deconstruct/reconstruct and embellish a plain white t-shirt! Students will be encouraged to think-outside-the-box and harness their creative powers to create their own unique designs! Max attendees 6.
