Description
CSL is excited to present an evening of music and poetry featuring Owen and Moley ÒSúilleabháin, Ireland’s newest breakout musical stars, fresh to America.
Mentored by Russell Crowe, Sinead O’Conner, Bobby McFerrin and Steven Spielberg these two brothers are bringing an exciting combination of music from ancient sacred Celtic chants to contemporary inspirational rock. Their performance at CSL will be the first public concert to be held in the Northwest. Joining them will be Libby Wagner and cast sharing poetry by Libby and other Northwest writers.
Owen and Moley recently were musical contributors to Spielberg's film “War Horse” and are musical artists at events created by internationally acclaimed poet David Whyte. They are the sons of Ireland’s highly treasured musicians Noirin Ni Riain and Michael O’Sulleabhain. Noirin is an authority on Gregorian and Celtic chants and sacred music. Michael is a composer, piano player and music academic.
It’s music. It’s Poetry. It’s a first at CSL and it’s a Northwest exclusive.
