Email/Mail Campaigns & Newsletters
NEON enables you to send out emails and track them, along with your mailings, directly through
your NEON database. NEON has a full WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that
enables you to easily create emails for newsletters and campaigns. NEON's material tracking
enables you to track what materials or letters you have sent people and organizations in your
database. On each constituent's record you can see every single mailing and email sent
using NEON. The system also sends out many different customized auto-reply emails - including
"thank yous," reminders, confirmations, receipts, greetings, and more, and helps you manage the
"thank yous" and other communications that must be mailed.

Email and newsletter creation tool
|
NEON's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor allows you to
easily create email campaigns and newsletters. You can add pictures and graphics,
hyperlinks, adjust text/color/size, and much more. Personalize with recipients' names and
other information for maximum impact.

Easily build audiences
|
Using NEON's query-based search you can sort by any
attribute(s) and extract the database audience you want to receive your emails and
letters. And you can easily import email lists and add/subtract from any of
your lists to be sure you reach your most effective target audience each time.

Campaign tracking
|
Track all of the email campaigns and mailings you send out in
NEON. View the statistics for your email campaigns including opens, click-throughs,
unsubscribes, and bounces. Under each person's record in NEON you can see every email and
letter they were sent.

Auto reply emails
|
NEON automatically sends out many different types of
automatic response emails for all of the different activities, donations, and registrations in
NEON. Each email is customized and personalized by you. Auto reply emails can
contain ID numbers, donation amounts, membership types and much more depending on the
purpose.

Newsletter sign up and opt-in
|
NEON has dynamic newsletter and email campaign opt-in pages
that enable your constituents and web visitors to easily sign up for the newsletters and groups you
create.

Mail merge data
|
Most of your NEON data and custom fields can be
exported into Excel or CSV formats to create letters, labels, name tags, custom reports, and
transferable data.

Email templates
|
NEON uploads an email template with your header and
footer. Additional HTML email templates can be easily loaded into the NEON editor. A
basic email template creator is provided with your logo at the top.

"Thank you" letter management
|
All of your "thank you" letters are easily managed in
NEON. When people donate, register, sign up for a membership, etc., they can be added to a
mailing list. NEON breaks the mailing list into categories and gives you the data you
need in Excel or CSV format to merge into letters using Word or a similar program.

Unsubscribes and opt-out's
|
Email campaigns, communications, and newsletters sent
through NEON will all have an email opt-out link enabling people to unsubscribe from your
list. Staff may also unsubscribe and re-subscribe people from the staff control panel.
NEON provides you a list of opt-outs.

"Tell a friend"
|
When your constituents receive an email from you that they like,
this link makes it easy for them to forward it to a friend, allowing your message to easily
reach someone new.

"See it online" and text version
|
Each email you send also has a text version that is
sent to those who do not have an email program which enables them to see pictures, rich text,
and HTML. There is a link they can click to view your email online, complete with the impact
of color and graphics.
