PAWS (Pets are Wonderful Support) is a program of the Albany Damien Center. Its mission is to ensure that pet owners living with HIV/AIDS are never separated from their beloved pets, often when they need each other the most. With your support PAWS helps 125 people living with HIV/AIDS and their pets when they are not able to do so themselves by providing:

  • In home pet care including dog walking, litter box changing, and feeding
  • Pet food and supplies
  • Pet Wellness Clinics and financial assistance with veterinary bills
  • Transportation to vet and grooming services
  • Health and educational information, including “safe pet” guidelines

Your support is critical to help our neighbors and friends. We are determined - with your help - to provide our PAWS services to each person and pet when they need us the most!
