How to be a Model of the New Evangelization
Recently a young woman named Lindsay posted a link to her blog on our Facebook page. We were entertained and inspired by what she said, and I think you will be too. She’s a model of the New Evangelization. She has something to teach us.
She begins her blog with these words:
In December 2014, I became an apostle. I’d thought about it before, but it was a while (years, actually) before I took the plunge. Now, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Lindsay goes on to talk about the Apostleship of Prayer—the Morning Offering, the Pope’s intentions, St. Therese, some history, the Sacred Heart, and the benefits of joining. Then she invites her readers to join. She ends the blog this way:
If you’ve ever thought about joining a prayer group with no meetings, one membership requirement, and universal and eternal effect, join the Apostleship of Prayer. I’d love to have you with me.
Lindsay is preaching Jesus from the rooftops, in the streets, and through the air. She’s doing what Pope Francis urges us all to do: encountering Jesus and spreading the good news.

We’d like to hear what you are doing to share Jesus Christ with others, engage the New Evangelization, or promote the Apostleship of Prayer.
Sincerely in the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
