Health Coverage Action Day at the Capitol

Description

(Registration is free!)

Join us for a rally to support health care coverage for more Arkansans.

Our lawmakers have a historic opportunity to extend health coverage to 250,000 Arkansans. The state has been granted new flexibility in deciding how we move forward with extending our Medicaid program. While we will continue to review this new proposal, we are encouraged by the chance to move closer to our goal of making sure all Arkansans have access to affordable health coverage.

Come out and show your support. This will also be your chance to encourage your lawmakers to work together and find a solution that keeps low-income Arkansans from falling through the cracks. We are encouraged by this new proposal and will continue to fight to protect low-income families as we move closer to our goal of making sure all Arkansans have access to affordable health coverage.

WHEN: Thursday, March 7, at 11:30

WHERE: On the front steps of the Arkansas Capitol building (event will be moved inside in the event of inclement weather)
