ABOUT The "Home is Where the Nest Is" Campaign

Home is where the nest is.

And for the Harmar Bald Eagles, home is a nest on the hillside above Route 28. Audubon had the opportunity to purchase this property--preserving it and protecting it from any future development. This will allow the Harmar Eagles to continue using the site for nesting and growing their family.

Thank you for helping Audubon to offest the cost of purchasing and managing the property through your generous donation!

Diana Rosenstein 09/05/2018 $10.00 My sister-in-law got me involved in the Eagles. She told me about the Hays Eagles and then about the Harmar Eagles. Being I live a mile from the Harmar side and I just started taking interest this year, 2018 in the Eagles I wanted to donate something to the society. But in reality, I am donating it in memory of my husband, Harry, who passed away 6 years ago but who loved all kinds of birds and if he were still alive today and had known about the Harmar side I guarantee you he would frequently visited just to look up with his binoculars and see these beautiful creatures.
