Summary

Celebrate Bald Eagles with an egg hunt, games, and crafts. Live Bald Eagle onsite, too!

Description

The Great Pittsburgh Eagle Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 12. We look forward to seeing you!

The event runs from 10 am – 2 pm with events going on throughout the day. We expect many visitors at 10 am, so if you’re able to come later, number of people onsite may be fewer.

We’re excited to announce that there will be a live Bald Eagle at the event!

Egg hunts begin at 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30. Smaller children (under 4 years of age) will get a head start on the younger kids to be sure that they locate their eggs! Some eggs will contain tokens for special prizes including summer camp scholarships, plush Bald Eagles, and build-it-yourself bird houses.

PixController will have a live NestCam broadcasting from the event. When you’re in our life-sized Bald Eagle nest, you’ll be live online! Be sure to tell your family that lives outside the area that they can see you on NestCam!

Parking is available at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, 614 Dorseyville Road. There will be overflow parking with a shuttle to the event at Fairview Elementary School, 738 Dorseyville Road.

Please register online for this free event, sponsored by Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, The Pennsylvania Game Comission, and PixController.
