Merit Badge Summer Camp - Wilderness Survival - Beechwood Thursday

Want to develop your scouting skills over the summer while earning your Merit Badges? While we follow the boy scout merit badge requirement, this camp is open to anyone age 11-17, even if you're not a Scout. Please see MeritBadge.org for details on the material we will cover. . Bring a lunch and a blue card. This camp runs from 9AM-3 PM.

NOTE: We meet all requirements for each badge with two exceptions: Insect Study requirement #9 and Wilderness Survival requirement #8. Bring proof of these requirements before or after the workshop and we will sign off on them. See individual programs for details.

You must register for each day independently. You only have to register for the days you want.

Monday: Bird Study; all requirements met.

Tuesday: Geocaching (Participants must bring a GPS-enabled smart phone or other device); all requirements met.

Wednesday: Insect Study; All requirements met EXCEPT #9, Raise an insect.

Thursday: Wilderness Survival; All requirements met EXCEPT #8, Stay overnight in your natural shelter.

Friday: Environmental Science; All requirements met.
