About this Session: Your family has asked you to host this year’s annual holiday party at your house. Where to start? Well, you will need to set a date for the party, come up with a plan, and communicate with (invite) your party guests. Planning and preparing for your year-end audit should follow similar steps. Join two seasoned auditors as they discuss practical ideas and tools for ensuring a successful and efficient audit. Jim Quaid and Barb Miller from ORBA will share lessons learned from auditing not-for-profit organizations. Together, we can share stories of audits that went well and audits that we would like to forget. You will take away ideas that will allow you to achieve a timely completion of financial statements and other reports as well as help you become a more effective financial leader within your organization.

Who Should Attend: Executive Directors, Finance Officers, Management Staff, Board Members
