Session Description
It is hard to overstate the importance that the relationship between supervisor and direct-report has on employee engagement and satisfaction. For this reason, organizations wanting to retain their best and brightest talent can maintain a healthy workplace culture by ensuring supervisors are equipped with the skills necessary to effectively manage and engage their employees. This session will explore the essential elements of effective supervision including hiring right, planning performance, balancing responsibility and authority, as well as providing meaningful feedback.

Speaker Bio
Cori Moschberger specializes in the not-for-profit segment and her experience includes administration, management, team building and training, leadership mentoring and counseling. Having successfully led her own staff as an Executive Director of an organization in Chicago, Cori brings to clients the real-world "know-how" needed to effectively mentor and manage employees and teams.
She is a highly regarded trainer in the areas of attracting and retaining quality personnel, workplace communication, and coaching and motivating employees. Cori is a certified PDP Administrator and TrakStar Professional. She holds a MA Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
