About this Session: Most tax-exempt organizations are required to file a Form 990 with the IRS, a resource open and available to the public. Since the Form 990 is one of the ways an organization “tells its story,” it is important to have an understanding of this document. As an organizational insider – staff, board member, long-time volunteer – learn what external parties – donors, prospective donors, foundations and charity watchdog groups – look for when reviewing an organization’s Form 990.

Who Should Participate: Anyone interested in increasing their comprehension about the IRS Form 990
