Half-Day Workshop: $90
3 CEUs
About this Session: Nonprofit leaders are stewards of the mission, values and vision of their organizations, charged with the responsibility to deliver results, expand impact and ensure the future of their institutions. One of the most critical acts of forward thinking leaders is to plan for succession in partnership with the board. The goal is to replace themselves with talented, skilled leadership essential to sustaining a nonprofit’s work. This workshop will establish the rationale for stewardship, introduce key elements of succession planning and, in a time of increased competition for talent, offer strategies for staff development and retention.
Who Should Participate: Executive directors and management staff
