Using their School Dollars grant, “the students will attend a performance of Freckle Face Strawberry, a play based on the book by Julianne Moore. In the story, a young girl with freckles is uncomfortable that the freckles make her different from others. She tries everything to make them go away, then finds out that everyone has something unique to make them different." They will see the play at the Rochester (NH) Opera House. Each classroom received a copy of the book to read aloud before seeing the show.
