Flynn Center Workshop at Marlboro School "Words Come Alive" Marlboro, VT, from September 27 through September 30th, the Flynn Center for Performing Arts will be conducting workshops with all the classrooms at Marlboro Elementary School as part of the CLiF Year of the Book program.
Words Come Alive is the Flynn’s signature professional development program based on research substantiating the vital importance of the performing arts in learning. Since 2001, through Words Come Alive, classroom teachers have worked in close collaboration with Flynn teaching artists to develop drama and movement techniques that address curricular goals while strengthening students’ expressive skills. Words Come Alive techniques connect with reading, writing, social studies, science, math, social issues, foreign languages, and visual arts, enabling children to become active learners.
