Clinical Engineering Standards of Practice for Canada

and How they relate to the Peer Review Process

Description:

Here is a chance for you and your team to find out more about the CMBES Clinical Engineering Standards of Practice. Recently updated in 2014, these standards are now the official reference for CMBES Peer Review. Lead author, Bill Gentles will provide in-depth explanations on various elements and sections. Moderator, Mike Capuano will also key-in on how some of these standards relate to the Peer Review process. Find out how to bring your clinical engineering program to a high standard at your facility using what might very well be the most advanced and respected standard for clinical engineering in existence. The session will cover compliance of core functions like service and preventive maintenance to quality standards and regulations. This is a must for clinical engineering programs who wish (or plan) to revamp their policies, processes, and quality measures to a higher level.
