Description: The Contemporary Portland Orchestra Project (CPOP) and the Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble (ECCE) would like to invite you our inaugural assembly as we come together to celebrate the power of musical communities to inspire change and give voice to our hopes and aspirations.

As part of this year's March Music Moderne Festival, our inaugural assembly will feature community performances of Frederic Rzewski's Les Moutons de Panurge and Terry Riley's In C. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own instrument, whether it's your voice, a trumpet, a guitar, a toy piano, or just a bucket and a pair of sticks, and join us in making our voices heard!

We'll also feature a diverse range of music--everything from electroacoustic works to string quartets and beyond--by musicians across the state alongside complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks for everyone to enjoy as we relax and enjoy some new sounds.Ticket sales will be donated to the Portland Community Music Center to help support a place where everyone can go to listen, learn, and create music together.
