Registration Prices Increase at Art Centers, including the Community Music Center

The Portland City Council’s Approved Budget for Fiscal Year 2017-18 (starting July 1, 2017) calls for program fee increases at the Community Music Center (CMC). Some activity fees may increase more than others; the overall net tuition increase is expected to be 5%. Portland Parks & Recreations (PP&R) and CMC Inc., the non-profit partner at the Center, remain committed to providing equitable access to quality music education programs. CMC Inc. provides need-based scholarship assistance to students at the Community Music Center through generous support from private donors and foundations. Those who qualify for a scholarship may apply to the CMC staff at the time of enrollment.
