About Mousai Remix –  Mousai Remix is a string quartet comprised of Oregon Symphony members Emily Cole (violin), Shin-young Kwon (violin), Jennifer Arnold (viola), and Marilyn de Oliveira (cello).   Violist Jennifer Arnold is also an instructor at CMC.

Formed in the fall of 2011, Mousai Remix assembled out of a passion to study and perform the great string quartet literature as well as a desire to share their love of music with the Portland community and promote music education in Portland-area schools.  They also strive to provide a more personal musical connection to Oregon symphony musicians in an intimate setting. The quartet has performed in a variety of community and educational settings and is String Quartet in Residence at Linfield College during the 2013-2014 year.

Mousai Remix takes its name from the ancient Greek Mousai, the muses inspiring the arts and sciences.
