2017 Mendocino in September

Due to Popular Demand-- September Mendocino - Shady Dell Coastwalk:

Sept 14-18, 2017

Experience the beautiful Mendocino Coastline over 4 nights along the CCT with experienced leaders.

1st Night: Camp at Usal Beach.

See the wondrous Shady Dell Candelabra trees on the Peter Douglas section of the California Coastal Trail. Enjoy spectacular overlooks and a sunrise natural history walk around Lake Cleone. 

2nd and 3rd Nights: Camp at McKerricher State Park.

Visit scenic points as we hike south on the Coastal Trail including: Laguna Point, Glass Beach, Fort Bragg, Pomo Bluffs, Hare Beach and the Coast Botanical Gardens.

4th Night: Spend the night at Jug Handle Farms and Nature Center.

Explore the Jug Handle Gardens and Nature Preserve, Caspar, The Upland Trail, Be treated to a private tour of Pt. Cabrillo Lighthouse.

Farewell at Russian Gulch around 3-4 pm
