The Lost Coast Backpacking Trek
June 7 – 15, 2018 9 days/8 nights (Backpacking)
$525 Adult

California’s remote Lost Coast in southern Humboldt and northern Mendocino Counties is said to be the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in the continental U.S. The Lost Coast Trek is a guided hike of over 50 miles along California’s most remote coastline, from the Mattole River in Humboldt County to Usal Creek in Mendocino County. We will traverse the length of the King Range National Recreation Area mostly along the rocky/sandy beach, then hike through Sinkyone Wilderness State Park on rugged, steep trails in the coastal range. You must be an experienced, self-reliant backpacker willing to accept this challenge. But the rewards are worth it all.

Rating: Strenuous
