Summary

We are excited to announce our featured keynote speaker Dr. Mary Ann Harlan, Assistant Professor and the Teacher Librarian Program Coordinator at San Jose State University. She was a middle and high school librarian in Northern California before earning her PhD. Her research focuses on information practices of teens, although she has a sideline research obsession with how girlhood is represented in YA lit.

Joining us will also be Deborah Ford an award-winning library media specialist and international speaker with almost thirty years of experience as a classroom teacher and librarian in K-12 schools. Traveling across North America, she does workshops, library coaching and professional development for both school and public libraries as the Director of Library Outreach at Junior Library Guild. She will not only be presenting workshops but graciously agreed to be “raffled off to one lucky attendee at the workshop,” and she will spend the day with the winner in his/her library helping out with whatever the winner wants!
Register today! All registrations include Continental Breakfast plus buffet-style lunch…networking with your peers, exciting professional development…all included!!
