We are excited to take part in an amazing opportunity this year to hold our annual CSLA Southern Region Workshop event as part of the larger International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) annual conference, taking place this year at CSU Long Beach, August 4-8, 2017. This will be the 46th annual conference held by IASL and the conference theme for this year is “Learning Without Borders,” highlighting the ability of school library programs to permeate not only our schools but the larger community as well. Both CSLA Southern and Northern region members will provide programming for this event. Your attendance will provide you with a rare opportunity to network with school library staff from more than 40 countries!
