Description
Join us for a screening of Just Eat It, a documentary about food waste -- from farms through retail and even to our own refrigerators -- and food rescue in North America. After the film we'll have a panel discussion on how food waste is present in our own community and what we can do to combat it. Panelists include Henry Talmadge, executive director of the Connecticut Farm Bureau; Michelle Lapine McCabe, director of community engagement and food access at The Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport; and Kevin Mullins, executive director of Community Plates.
