Trashed sets out to discover the extent and effects of the global waste problem. As narrator Jeremy Irons explores beautiful destinations tainted by pollution and an entire city that is now virtually waste-free, this meticulous and brave investigative journey will take us from skepticism to sorrow and from horror to hope.
This film screening is hosted in partnership with Westport Green Task Force. This special event will kick-off with a reception at 6:30pm featuring wine from Organic Vintages and food from Whole Foods.
The screening will begin at 7:00pm and will conclude with a Q&A with Steve Edwards, Director of the Westport Public Works Department, and a representative from the CT DEEP (Department of Energy and Environmental Protection).
