Seal of the State of Illinois

The next meeting of the Disability Rights Consortium will take place on Wednesday, February 24th from 9:30-11:00 at Equip for Equality (20 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 300, Chicago, IL).

Topic: The meeting will focus on the voting rights of people with disabilities. Since this is a Presidential election year, there will be increased interest in voting and having the latest information for the primary and general election should be very beneficial.

Presenter
Our speakers this month will be Cheryl Jansen, Equip for Equality's Public Policy Director and Christian Diaz from Chicago Votes. Cheryl will be discussing the recently expanded opportunities to register and vote and Christian will be discussing the current campaign/efforts to enact automatic voter registration in Illinois.
