Dear friends and family,
We are so thankful for our rainbow baby's safe Thanksgiving Day arrival. And, we continue to find ways to remember his sweet sister, Rayna.
Both of us feel we have enough “stuff,” and appreciate the generous gifts we received for LT this holiday season. In lieu of gifts for ourselves, we asked family to to raise funds to help support Faith’s Lodge. In November 2015 we made great friends with other couples who lost babies – Ella, Hazel, Nathan, Keeston, and Charlotte. Early last spring we had a mini-reunion here in the Twin Cities, and over Labor Day 2016 we all gathered again for a long weekend at Faith’s Lodge. We have found their tagline to ring true for us, “A place where hope grows.” We’d like to share that hope with other families.
Faith’s Lodge offers fun and creative ways to raise funds, and the way that sticks out most to us is to have a stained-glass window created to honor Rayna. We can’t help but think Rayna’s Sunset will look stunning in stained class in the Great Room at the lodge. The total cost for this is $7,500. A Twin Cities artist donates his time and would meet with us to create the window, and approximately $1,000 of the total cost goes toward materials. The additional $6,500 is pure donation, and all contributions are tax deductible.
We are very close to our $7,500 goal, and would ask you to consider making even a small donation to help us reach that goal in order to raise money for a stained-glass window to honor Rayna at Faith’s Lodge. The easiest way to do this is for you to donate through this page or for us to collect checks written out to Faith’s Lodge.
