Description
On Saturday, April 14, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the public is invited to the Damascus branch of Montgomery County Public Libraries to see a real service dog in training, showing off all their skills. Learn about animal behavior from trainer Maureen McCabe and volunteers Jan Dofner and Nancy Welch. Find out how service dogs are raised and trained by local volunteers to be placed free-of-charge with our nation’s Veterans to improve their quality of life and restore independence.
