About the show:
This hit comedy by nationally award-winning playwright Karen Zacarías focuses on the fun, frivolity, and deeply serious politics found in our beloved Book Clubs. When a new member is hastily invited into this Club, will this group of friends ever be the same? Uproariously hilarious, this contemporary comedy lets us celebrate our love for reading while allowing us to laugh at ourselves – and our loved ones. Accompanied by opportunities for each audience to share their favorite book titles, this play is a celebration of why we love to love – and talk about – our books. Produced in partnership with Battenkill Books.
