July 5: Making it Up as I Go Along - Improvisation for Teens with Christine Decker

Students will learn basic guidelines for improvisation such as: Say yes and...Be in the moment and Have a strong point of view. Based upon Viola Spolin's Improvisation for the Actor we will explore our imagination and story-telling abilities through various games.

A 6-week series of workshops with local professionals focusing on different aspects of theatrical training, including audition preparation and monologue work, Shakespeare, movement, improvisation, and proper vocal techniques.
