Based on the legendary model of the Battenkill Chorale, Hubbard Hall is thrilled to offer its second year of the Youth Chorale.  This group will rehearse and perform as part of professional performances in the Hall and have opportunities to tour throughout the region to schools, community centers, and retirement communities.

Are you a teen who loves to sing? Whether you sing solos in the school talent show, rock out in the shower, or prefer to just sing along to the radio in the car, this is a great opportunity for you to learn more and share your talent with the world! Join the Youth Chorale and become part of a team of singers that will learn the ins and outs of vocal performance while preparing to sing beautiful music in front of live audiences!  Students will learn to read music and perform as a group while bolstering their confidence and their abilities to express themselves through rhythm and melody.  Youth Chorale will perform a Spring Concert on May 12-13th, and will travel to retirement communities throughout the region.

Kyra Fitzgerald (Youth Chorale, Program Director) is graduate of the College of Saint Rose with a degree in Music Education with a concentration in vocal music. She has always had a love for music, joining every chorus, choir, and other vocal ensemble she could both in school and in the community.  She is in her 4th year of directing the CCS Drama Club and her 2nd with the HH Youth Chorale. She has been part of the Hubbard Hall community for over two years both at a desk and onstage, most recently seen as Emilia in Othello and Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher.
