Irish Step Dance, Beginner Level 1

In this beginning level Irish Step Dance class, Level 1 dancers (continuing from the Fall session) will continue to refine their basic soft shoe Irish jig and reel steps this Spring.  Brand new beginners, please wait to join us in September.

Darcy May is a 1985 graduate of the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. She studied Irish Dance as a child at Fay and O’Connell School of Irish Dance in Pearl River, NY, and danced with Wild Irish Acres of Saratoga Springs. Darcy has taught at Hubbard Hall since 2004. She also illustrates children’s books.

Spring Term: February 4 to June 10 with rehearsal for performance June 13 (no class 2/18, 4/8)
