This two-week intensive is intended as an introduction to actor training for young artists, using theater games, voice & speech, movement, text analysis and stage combat to develop students’ abilities to express themselves and create vibrant characters on stage for themselves and their audiences. Focused on the creation of characters and scenes from Shakespeare, this fun, collaborative process will also deepen students’ understanding of Shakespeare’s world and work, culminating in a free showcase sharing of their work on the final day of the course.
