MfS Viola Seminar Concert

Sunday, June 15 at 7pm on the Mainstage. The Viola Seminar is an intensive week-long seminar for young professionally-bound violists, led by Lila Brown, violist Leonard Matczynski (director of the Apple Hill Chamber Music Festival), and pianist Marc Ryser. The concert is the fruit of their week's immersion, including a new premier arrangement of the C major fugue from the third Bach solo violin Sonatam, co-commissioned by the Music from Salem Viola Seminar and ACHT, the Juilliard School Viola Studio.
