Discover textures, patterns and spontaneous design all around our immediate environment. Learn basic principles of art and printmaking while responding to what you see through both traditional and unconventional projects. Try out a variety of printmaking methods and work with unique materials including linoleum block printing, carving and using a printing press. With an emphasis on encouraging creative confidence and experimentation, this class is a fun introduction to the art of printmaking where students explore the exciting process and captivating result of transferring an image from one surface to another. (Family friendly, ages 6 and older)

Jarah Greenfield (Printmaking) is an artist, educator and rabbi with a life-long love for teaching and making art. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and is thrilled to be joining the Hubbard Hall faculty.
