This class will explore the very basics of knitting in a class that is perfect for beginners of all ages! Work together to learn basic stitches while letting your interest and skill blossom to create a beautiful piece that you can share with your friends and family! Not only will you learn the basic skills, you will learn to create a lovely ear warmer—or, for those looking for a longer-term project, a beautiful basket-weave texture scarf! Work outside the classroom is not required, but encouraged—after all, not only is knitting a joy for your soul, it is also a great stress reliever, fun activity to do with friends, a challenge for your brain, a lovely skill that has been handed down over the centuries....and so much more!
Please purchase size 8 knitting needles and 14 ounces of worsted weight yarn to bring to class!
