THE RED GUITAR is a musical monologue of the history of rock and roll as he lived it, from early childhood to present day: becoming Van Morrison's lead guitarist at 17, a songwriter to James Taylor, to a chance encounter with Jimi Hendrix. Equal parts music and storytelling, it runs about an hour and a half. Inspired by friends who advised him to put his experiences into a book, but he soon discovered that performing it live was the way to go. It's a funny, poignant, and in the end a story of personal transformation.
