Twyla Tharp and Dancers will hold a lecture and demonstration at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY based on the program that will tour across New York State this summer.
This amazing presentation will take place on April 1st at 1pm. Seating is limited and pre-registration is offered for $10 General Admission and $5 Students.
Currently in residence at the Catskills Mountain Foundation in Hunter and Tannersville, NY, Tharp and the company are mounting repertory works and rehearsing a new work set to Beethoven’s Opus 130. Tharp and the company will discuss the rehearsal process, the importance of remounting older works, as well as talk about the newest work, set to premiere at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in June. Audiences will learn how these works fit together and how they represent a trajectory of Tharp’s career. Join us and Twyla Tharp Dance for an exciting look into the legendary American choreographer’s process.
