- The Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, Mass., also widely known and respected as "America's Oldest Car Collection," is seeking library and digital archivist interns to assist with organizing, cataloging and digital implementation of the museum's automotive research library.
Over the years the museum has acquired many books, maps, encyclopedias and other publications related to the automobile and its impact on society. Many books in the museumâs library are very old and date back to the late 19th and early 20th century. However, the library covers the entire period from the beginning of automobile industry to the present.
The best candidates for this position would possess a great attention to detail, a background in History and Library Studies. This is an unpaid internship though, class credit is available, not to mention the outstanding opportunity to work at an important institution on an interesting project.
