43. Art Museum Adventures with Elissa Morley & Sonja Brooks *CLASS IS FULL*

In this special full-day class, students will take daily field trips to the Art Museum at the University of Kentucky! Museum staff will give us the inside scoop on their exhibit of contemporary landscape paintings and lead us on adventures inside and outside the museum to discover hidden campus secrets.  Students will make maps of their explorations, draw and paint their discoveries, and hide some of their own art creations for others to find. Students will learn about landscape architecture as we design and construct 3D models of paper playgrounds, sculpture parks, and more! We'll also put together our own mini-museum at the LASC to exhibit our creations. This class includes a one-hour supervised lunch break - don't forget to bring your lunch from home!
