45. Art Museum Academy with Elissa Morley & Sonja Brooks

In this special full-day class, students will take daily field trips to the Art Museum at the University of Kentucky to experience Fine Art first-hand! We'll sketch famous works in the museum's permanent collection and get the inside scoop on an exhibit of contemporary landscape paintings. Students will draw and paint original landscape art, enjoy some plein air practice, and dig into the field of landscape architecture as we construct 3D models of our own designs. Class will culminate with an exhibit of their artwork at the LASC. This class includes a one-hour supervised lunch break - don't forget to bring your lunch from home!
