224. Exploring Light and Dark: The Essentials of Charcoal Drawing *CANCELLED*

In this full day workshop with mixed-media artist Mikie Cameron, students will learn the basics of drawing with charcoal. We will look at work by artists who create charcoal drawings, learn how to manipulate this messy material, and working from a still-life, students will create a rich drawing in black and white.  This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio! This class includes a one hour supervised lunch break --- don't forget to pack a lunch!
