21. Morning with the Masters with Angela Carbone

This class will study the work of Matisse and Picasso to create a series of ceramic tiles. We will create cubist style self-portraits in the style of Picasso and abstract landscapes like Matisse.  Students will use a variety of ceramic construction processes including pinch, coil and slab. With creative problem solving and imagination, we will add surface decoration to incorporate texture, pattern and color.
