Description

What are microcontrollers?  They are the tiny minds of electronic devices, from digital instruments to industrial robotics.  Working with members of Collexion (a DIY collective of designers, developers, and all-around technology buffs), students will get hands-on time and instruction to develop and program an Arduino that will interface with various devices (buttons, sensors, and motors).  By the end of class, students will have a basic understanding of programming and the building blocks for interfacing digital technology with the physical world.   Students will also get to visit Collexion's creative workspace, and learn real-world applications for their new skills!  Components used in this class will remain property of the LASC. Take-home kits may be available for an additional fee.
