3. Community Journalism and Social Justice with Alexis Meza *CANCELLED*

Be a storyteller for your community! Students will learn the basics of doing interviews and feature stories and how to report on your own community. We'll cover writing and reporting skills, how to build community through different media, social justice concerns, current news, and other topics of interest.  We'll also learn how to use simple technology and equipment for recording, editing, and sharing our stories.

Teens 13- 18 years | 4:15 to 5:45 pm | Tuesdays & Thursdays 7-5,7,19,21,26,28, 8-2,4.  No class on 7-12 or 14 | $75 non-member price/ $70 with Family Membership or higher
