140. Safety First - Beginner Fire Performance with Marie Conger *CANCELLED*

Are you interested in Fire Spinning or other types of Fire Performance? This class will provide you with the necessary information to be safe and professional. Class topics include: equipment safety, types of fuels, NAFP regulations, costume safety, fueling depots, fuel dump safety, and fire performer insurance information.  The course will culminate with an opportunity to light up and apply your knowledge in a controlled environment.  Performance artists of all kinds (i.e.:  belly dancers, hoopers, flow artists, etc.) will enjoy this workshop as a way to add some flair to their show. Prerequisites: Participation in Beginner Poi Spinner or consent of instructor.
