Are you passionate about art or science or are you just looking to volunteer? Check out our MONTHLY PROGRAM PREP DAYS! The Living Arts and Science Center holds these events monthly on the first Tuesday of the month with a range of work preparing for all of our numerous programs. We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers to help with the following: pre-k art day prep, preparing materials for our field trip and outreach programs. If you are interested sign up here! Description
Gallery Hop is coming to the Living Arts and Science Center and we need your help! We will be hosting a variety of artists in our galleries and live music "under the stars" in our planetarium. Volunteers will help with the following: -Greeting guests to the center -Serving as greeters to each of our galleries -Assisting with the traffic flow into and out of the planetarium -Set-up and Clean-up. The Living Arts and Science Center has had a FULL week of No School Day Classes and we need your help getting us back on track! Volunteers for the LASC Resets will assist with the following: -Cleaning the classrooms -Restocking classrooms -Preparing materials for the upcoming classes -Working on sorting the attic -And a variety of other tasks! Our Science Explorers program is a one of a kind after school program that gives students the chance to celebrate their science success and teach their family about the cool and engaging topics they learned throughout the semester. An evening of special events just for them includes a visit to our planetarium and a live animal show. But we need you to make it happen. Volunteers will be needed to assist staff with the setup of the dinner, engage with families in our Discovery Exhibit, help with activity rotations, and clean up when the event is complete.
