International Mud Day with Apple Playschools

Join Apple Playschools for a celebration of International Mud Day at Leslie Science and Nature Center!

International Mud Day is a day for children around the world to connect with the earth through mud play and exploration. At Apple Playschools, everyday is mud day, but on this particular day, we get messy to the extreme!  Dive into the wonders of mud in our mud pit, make mud pies, explore mud paint, build mud sculptures, nibble on mud pudding and explore the many uses of mud throughout the world.

Come prepared to get muddy! Mud Day t-shirts and wet bags for muddy clothes will be available for sale.  We can’t wait to see you!

Apple Playschools is a local nonprofit providing progressive early childhood education in order to facilitate social responsibility, diversity, global and environmental awareness. We operate two unique preschool programs for infants through kindergarten: Green Apple Garden Playschool  and Manzanitas Spanish Immersion Playschool.
